The Best Mobile Games for Hardcore Gamers

Before the advent of the smartphone, the most popular mobile game was Snake. Just recently, a new type of game that combines real-world locations and the virtual world was popularized by Pokemon GO. After the latter’s success, game developers have recognized the potential of the platform usually associated with casual gamers.

With so many apps available, which mobile games should hardcore gamers try?

Tales of Phantasia (1995)
Originally made for other gaming platforms, this classic is now available in its mobile version so you can relive the epic battles against the sorcerer king Dhaos as the heroes travel through time to seal him.

Chrono Trigger (1995)
If you have played this game on Super NES, Nintendo DS or PlayStation, you might enjoy another playthrough on your mobile phone. In the game, the characters travel through time to gather items and resources in order to complete their quest.

FIFA Mobile (2016)

Lumines (2004)
